COURSE INFO
Wide, fast, and safe courseon Swan Island in North Portland - perfect for beginners or fast fields.
Good pavement, wide roads, with three wide turns: one sweeping turn, one 90-degree turn, and a tighter one.
Wide finishing straight for a good clean sprint.

Please note: flaggers will ensure rider safety, but riders should use caution as this race occurs on public roads - this is not a 100% closed course, there are bus routes that stay live, and occassionally cars and trucks need access to the course.
This race is designed as a one week-out tune up for the Portland Criterium. We’ll race Saturday, and then a week later - come race the Portland Criterium! 2-days of fast-paced, downtown crit racing. More info here
DIRECTIONS & PARKING
All races are held at Swan Island in Portland, Oregon, located just 10-minutes north of Downtown.
Check-in & Registration: Registration, OBRA tent, and wheel corral all located near start line
Parking: Flaggers will direct you to turn left after you cross over the railroad bridge, you can park on the street once you’ve turned left. (ignore the no parking signs!)

Not a closed course
A reminder: this is not a closed course! Although this is a low traffic area, especially on weekends and flaggers will stop/direct traffic to keep racers safe, but racers should be mindful that this is still not a 100% closed course. There is a live bus line and occasionally trucks and buses will be let on course.
Helmets Required
At OBRA events, helmets must be worn whenever riding a bike.

We will have port-a-potties!
Bring Your Own Water
There will not be easy access to drinking water - make sure to bring your own water.
No parking or warming up by OBRA tents
No bikes in the Wagner logistics parking lot, including warming up. See course map above.

We need Course Marshalls!
What you'll do:
Keep watch for and stop any cars that might try to enter the course during races. Marshall the cars or trucks who NEED to enter, but only when it’s safe. Direct cars to parking, and communicate with race directors on any vehicles being let on course
